Kadesh Barnea- the Evidence
Ron Wyatt found a site in the Negev he believed is Kadesh Barnea of the Exodus account. The evidence is startling- in this extremely dry desert area, there is evidence of a massive flow of water over the rock here. The evidence shows that it was not from temporary flooding which can occur in this region, but that a sustained flow of water continued over a long period of time. There is evidence of lichen or moss which grows in streams on the rocks. A massive rock sits in a deep water-cut channel which appears to have been purposefully set there to slow the water flow. The area of the camp is large but the region is being strip-mined for phosphate so it’s not possible to explore the entire area. There is much more evidence including the discovery of a portable olive press, just the size for an individual family!
