Our New Look
If you’re a regular visitor to anchorstone.com, you are probably noticing a few changes in our site design and look. This is something Bill Fry and I were working on several months ago, but never had a chance to implement.
Our "old" site was becoming so huge it was hard to manage all the changes and updates that were needed. We also wanted to feature fresh news content that related to biblical archaeology. This new design addresses many of those needs and more. It provides a database back end that enables visitors to search and find ALL the links to that word or phrase in fractions of a second. There’s a search link at the left to make that easier.
Some have asked about the missing links at the top of the page. On the old site the words at the top of the header took you to the first Wyatt newsletter on that particular discovery. The only problem with that is that it didn’t take you to the subsequent newsletters and updates about it! With this search feature, you can be sure you are finding ALL the news and information from all areas of our site on that topic.
There are other things that we are working on, such as individual sections devoted specifically to each discovery. And we’re developing more resources that you can share with others, particularly small affordable tracts and brochures you can hand out about the discoveries, easy ways to invite others to the website to read for themselves the wonderful things the Lord is revealing to the world in this generation.
