PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION SCHEDULE: A $350.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Final tour payment is due by August 15th. After this date the full amount is due at the time of registration. Registration deadline is August 19th. After the date the tour will be closed.
For non-U.S. participants who will be meeting us in Istanbul, the total cost of this tour from Istanbul is $2300 USD. Tour begins the morning we leave for Van. Each tour member is responsible for his or her own airfare from hometown to Istanbul, Turkey. This cost is in addition to the tour cost above. We advise you to schedule your travel to arrive a day or so early so to allow for any unforeseen travel delays.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND FORM OF PAYMENT: The traveler is responsible for obtaining a valid passport. In addition, a Turkish visa will be required. This visa will be obtained at the Istanbul airport and does not need to be obtained in advanced.
Payment for the tour may be made by check or money order in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank only. Once registered, refund request will be considered on an individual basis, depending on circumstances. Failure to cancel (in writing) 30 days prior to departure or show up for departure may result in 100% of tour price being forfeited by traveler. Again, communication is the key factor in regards to unforeseen circumstance.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Flights allow two (2) checked bags per person with neither to exceed 70 pounds. Total weight of both bags not to exceed 102 pounds, plus one carry-on bag not to exceed 39 pounds. Any excess baggage is at the passenger;s own expense.
CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE: The price of this tour is based on special air hotel rates. The right is reserved to make changes in the itinerary as is deemed necessary.
The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such person’s health or mental condition or physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour participants. A refund of unused land tour services is the limit of Anchor Stone International’s responsibility.
Anchor Stone International, and or their agents, act only as agents for the passenger in regard to travel and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. We assume no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or change in services, sickness, strike, war, quarantine, or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger.
Travel in foreign countries can be dangerous. Anchor Stone International acts only as an agent to provide travel arrangements to the areas which you desire to visit. While we take steps to insure the success of our tour and the safety of our tour members. Anchor Stone accepts no responsibility for personal risks or liabilities. Registration and payment of total amount due or deposit will be considered a request of this itinerary and acceptance of the terms and conditions associated with this tour.
